University Helper is a free education portal dedicated to providing accurate, fast and verified information about board exams, university updates, government jobs, admissions, scholarships and education news across India. Our Story
Every great initiative starts with a problem. For us, that problem was simple but frustrating โ students in Bihar and across India struggled to find accurate, timely information about their exams, results, admit cards and scholarships.
It was 2021. India was in the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown. Schools and universities were closed. Students were confused, anxious and desperately searching for updates about their exams and results. Official websites were slow, overloaded or difficult to navigate. Fake news and misleading information were spreading rapidly on social media.
That’s when Kundan Choudhary, a student from Banka District, Bihar, decided to do something about it. He started sharing verified newspaper cuttings and official notifications on Telegram โ covering universities, colleges, board exams, scholarships and government schemes. The response was immediate and overwhelming. Thousands of students found the information helpful, authentic and easy to understand.
What started as a small Telegram initiative grew steadily into a trusted community. Students from Bihar and across India began relying on University Helper for their daily education updates. Over the years the channel grew, the audience grew and so did the responsibility.
In March 2026, University Helper officially launched as a full website โ bringing five years of trusted Telegram updates to one dedicated platform where students can find everything they need in one place.
Who Runs University Helper?
University Helper is founded and managed by Kundan Choudhary โ a postgraduate student of Economics from IGNOU, originally from Banka District, Bihar.
Kundan is not just a website owner โ he is a student himself who has personally experienced the challenges of finding reliable academic information. Coming from Banka District, a small district in Bihar, he understands how difficult it can be for students in smaller towns and villages to access accurate exam updates and scholarship information.
